Handmade magic in our workshop in Madrid

In our workshop in Madrid is where the magic comes to life.. Each member of our team contributes their know-how, creating small works of art with their hands. The process is long and precious: every step of our manufacturing process is manual and is carried out following traditional jewellery techniques, supported by new technologies..
The story of each piece begins with the conception of an idea, which is transformed into sketches and drawings, and is followed by a meticulous selection of materials; this is essential, as the quality of these materials will greatly influence the final result.
We then enter the design and modelling phase, where every detail is perfected before going into production.
Some designs may require the creation of 3D models to visualise the part in its final form and make adjustments as necessary.
Then the metalworking begins. Using specialised tools, the metal is shaped with precision, including casting techniques. Each piece is worked individually, allowing for exceptional personalisation and attention to detail.
After assemble all partsthe jewellery undergoes a process of finishing and polishing. It is at this stage that the jewel acquires its final splendour.
If the jewellery includes gemstones, each stone is carefully set in its mounting, or if it is a mounting piece, each stone is threaded and each link is hand-strung. Every step of the process involves meticulous attention to detail..
SUMA CRUZ designs pieces of high quality costume jewellery, handmade and with a differentiating design, creating, at the same time, contemporary and timeless jewellery, giving rise to the most innovative aesthetics in the sector.
